So it has been a good long while since I posted. But I have been busy. I am taking Ron Lemen's Wednesday night drawing class. They are sort of 6 hour drawings. THe first 3 hour class is spent doing thumbnail sketches and plannning out my final drawing, then getting the placement on the paper. The 2nd 3 hour session is spent building the form. It is a late night class - at least for me - 7:30 - 10:30 PM. But I am really enjoying it, as well as finally feeling some progression. Ron has been able to finally get through to me the benefit and use of the thumbnail. I have done thumbnail plenty of times - but never really fully understood what a great and useful tool it is - or how to make it work for me. Finally - some understanding!
